The purpose of this research was to investigate the ability of self-awareness, empathy ability and human relationship in the theological institutions. The subject of this study were seminary students who participated in counseling practice, from 2013 May to June. The data analyzed with SPSS 21.0. The result of this study were as follows. First, the group that favored counseling were higher than those who have amabivalent attitude, those who were not favored, and were not interested for the counseling regarding to the attitude about counseling. Secondly, the group that favored counseling were higher than other three groups regarding to the tendency of professional help pursuit. Thirdly, the group that favored the counseling was higher than other groups regarding the empathy ability. Fourth, the group had the lowest score than other three groups regarding to the dysfunction of human relationships.
