In these days, the crimes related industrial security are increasing. This study was to find factors that motivate willingness to comply organizations" security policies.
The study classified motivation to intrinsic and extrinsic ones. Ethical consciousness, direct or indirect experiences of violation of industrial security and the degree of relevancy between workplace and industrial security were set up as intrinsic motivations based on previous studies in organizational behavioral studies. Training of industrial security and certainty of punishment were suggested as extrinsic motivations. Three types of organizational justice- distributive, procedural, and interactional justices - were set as moderating variables.
The analysis was conducted based on Structural Equation Model (SEM), using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS v18. As results, ethical consciousness, experience and certainty of punishment were found to have a significant impact on the willing to comply industrial security policy. On the other hand, training of industrial security and relevance between workplace and industrial security were not related to the willingness to comply. As the results of testing the moderating effect of tree types of organizational justice. Significantly higher coefficients were found between experience and willingness, as wll as between punishment and willingness in the groups which perceived all three types of organizational justice lower.
The study suggests that ethical consciousness, experience and certainty of punishment, should be considered in order to increase the compliance with industrial security policy.
