The purpose of this is focused on job performance in travel agency based upon related previous literatures suggesting that job performances could be influenced by emotional intelligence. In order to analyze job performance of travel agencies, this study chose emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and organizational commitment as core factors that may have direct effects on job performance.
Based upon the regression analysis as empirical research on 4 hypotheses, the result showed as follows. Found a positive effect of emotional intelligence of travel agency employees on job satisfaction, Hypothesis 1 was accepted. Emotional intelligence of travel agency employees was found positive effect on organizational commitment. Therefore hypothesis 2 was accepted. Job satisfaction of travel agency employees was analyzed as positive effect on job performance. So hypothesis 3 was accepted. Finally hypothesis 4 was accepted after organizational commitment of travel agency employees was found as positive effect on job performance.
In conclusion, emotional intelligence of travel agency employees could be as an important element and a positive organizational culture to enhance job satisfaction and organizational commitment should be recommended for job performance.
