The aim of this study is to analyze moderating effects of self-efficacy in the relation between self silencing and depression of hotel employees in order to formulate a theory and this study carried out empirical analysis focusing on the hypothesis setting of a study model.
Two hypotheses were set based on theoretical background, and the study attempted to analyze moderating effects of self-efficacy in the influencing relation and relation between self silencing and depression of hotel employees.
As a result of verification of hypothesis through study model, self silencing of hotel employees affected depression, which implied that affecting factors needed consideration. As a result of examination if self silencing had moderating effects on depression by self-efficacy, there was a significant regression coefficient in interaction section which demonstrated self-efficacy had moderating effects. Accordingly, it is fair to remark that the hypotheses suggested through the previous theoretical foundations were adopted. Then, this conclusion was followed by suggestions.
