In this paper, we developed an intent probing monitoring system, which can offer appropriate information or services by actively responding to the user’s intention, based on eye movement analysis and probability. The type of user intention, either navigational intent or informational intent, can be predicted based on eye movement responses such as fixation count, fixation length, pupil size variation, gradient of pupil size variation, and eye blinking variation. Further, these features are used to detect the transition point between navigational intent and informational intent, and also maximum a posteriori in Naive Bayes classification model is used for selecting relevant query keyword to search and retrieve specific information from a personalized knowledge database.
