This work describes effective operation of CEC(Corperative Engagement Capability) in the future battle space.
Future battle space is formed with grids of the various sensors and the shooter. Their missions and functions have been accomplished through network based battle management systems in a single theater. The CEC enables battle group ships and aircraft to share precision composite track data in the real time. Military threats, such as sea skimming cruise missiles or ballistic missiles are getting severe. In this point of view, this paper describes the basic concept of the CEC. From results of this analysis, the effective operations scheme of cooperative engagement suitable of Korean Navy is presented.
