The "well-being", which pursues physical and mental health and happiness presents a new life style to people worn out by competition and speed. As the well-being is being a worldwide life style, human beings want to enjoy physical and mental health and the wealthy based on healthy environment. Such a new-concept life style is variously applied to miscellaneous industries even in residential buildings. However, the office buildings have not been fully benefited by the well-being since the significance of office buildings is often ignored. Therefore, this study was performed to present the basic data necessary to improve work environment. Regarding methodology, reference and questionnaire were used. The main object was to analyze subjects" satisfaction and importance on work environment using well-being factors. Generally examining subjects" satisfaction on work environment, unsatisfactory responses accounted high proportion. Such dissatisfactions were caused as the well-being was not applied to the work environment, and have negative influences on personal productivity and satisfaction. In conclusion, it was considered that the factors related to developing personal ability, natural environment, personal relations and special functional spaces account for high proportion. It implies that the importance of physical, psychological and social well-being is not lopsided toward one side, which means the well-being is perfected in case the three are fully satisfied. Well-being office which is physically, psychological, and socially healthy will advance the work satisfaction and quality of human life as well as the corporate productivity and image.
