Museum is usually a huge building complex marked by its historical atmosphere and functional complexity. On the one hand, a museum distinguishes itself from other structures for its being culturally and artistically loaded. On the other, a museum has to go through the appraisal and review of its appreciator whose aesthetic interest tastes and cultural backgrounds vary from one another. The aesthetic interest expressiveness in the design of directional signs for museums is conducive to bringing out into full play the information transmission functions and aesthetic interest function of museum. A good design of directional signs for museum should not only reveal the humanistic beauty of artistic design but also incorporate the latest achievements in science and technology to reflect the beauty of rationality in the designing process.
