Since there are many small scale children’s museums as annexes domestically, it should be sought out to expand the exhibition space to those that are not designed for the exhibition. Learning effect for spectators can also be expected in the resting areas. Since the level of understanding by children that are main targets of the exhibition can be raised by the engagement of their parents or guardians, whether the relearning is possible should be noted. For children’s museums that recently opened in 2011, the scope of the research were set into three areas including ‘within the gallery’, ‘out of the gallery’ and ‘outside of the building’ depending on the arrangement of the resting area. Types can be further classified according to the accessibility to and the function of the media, and the use behavior of spectators in the resting area was analyzed according to the correlation in each type. Although every direction can be observed in a circulating manner according to the arrangement of exhibits in the resting area within the gallery, the attentions of spectators are frequently collided. In the place where the influence of the eyes is smaller, the relearning is conducted by the help of parents or guardians. In the resting area out of the gallery, it is easy for spectators to access to the entrance and exit of the gallery. Before viewing, exhibition supplementary media are obtained and after it, the relearning is conducted.
