Report Errors

In the recent periods of information revolution and network power, the death of intellectuals is declared. What are the images and roles of intellectuals which would be demanded newly? To respond this question, the philosophical and sociological discussions must be needed. This article examines changes of meanings of knowledge, those of relation between knowledge and power, and new significances and roles of intellectuals in the era of cyber and information. First, we take historical approach about these problems, and second, we examines these problems with the point of social sciences.
