The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the consumption values, life satisfaction and demographic variables between groups classified by the well-being lifestyle. This study administered a questionnaire survey to adults between the ages of 19 and 60 who lived in Seoul, Daegu, and Kyungbuk regions. Data collected from the 285 respondents were analyzed using descriptive statistics, factor analyses, cluster analysis and t-tests. Each of the well-being lifestyle and consumption value was divided into four factors and life satisfaction was categorized into one factor. The results of the t-tests and χ² tests showed that there were significant differences in the social value, functional value, emotional value, life satisfaction, gender and income levels between the highly well-being oriented lifestyle group and the lowly well-being oriented lifestyle group.
