An interdisciplinary area of engineering with mechanical and electrical engineering and computer science are combined, mechatronics is widely applied to the field of automation and control. Mechatronic systems are basically composed of sensors, controllers and actuators, and the robots are typical examples of the system. Due to the necessity of wide range of knowledge for exploring the area, the robot kits could be useful solutions for the education. Thus, introduced in this paper are several robot kits for mechatronics education and the example of mechatronics education program using a robot kit.
