This study was to identify the effects of weight training and plyometrics training on the agility and isokinetic muscular strength. The subjects were 24 people who had weight training experiences. They were training for 60 minutes a day and three times per week. Statistical Data was processed by 5P55(Windows Version 12,0) using descriptive statistics regarding the physical characteristics of subjects as well as each variables(agility, isokinetic muscular strength). A repeated measures ANOVA was used to compare functional status veriables between the pre and post tests. The results were as follows: In agility, there was no significant difference according to measurement times (p<.01), In the maximum muscular strength per weight, there was significant difference in extension(Right), flexion(Right) and flexion(Left) according to measurement times and interactions (p<.05,p<,01),In average power, there was significant difference in extension(Right), extension(Left), and flexion(Right)’ according to measurement times and interactions (p<.05, p<.01, /p.001). Weight training was for the improvement of muscular strength and techniques and it helps to prevent injuries during sports. Thus it is considered to be more effective training if weight training and plyometric training are combined appropriately.
