The writing style of “Kaidoki” generally is known to difficult, complicated and ambiguous because there were so diverse expressions of the antithesis around the chinese character. But that antithetic Style is really one of the basis of the Chinese Style. In the same context, the in “Kaidoki” represented antithetic expressions have a distinctiveness structured through repetitive expression of the various type. Though the iterant expressions was even a taboo expressive technique in the poetry of the time, “Kaidoki” have accepted those usage of the expressions actively. For instance, the author in “Kaidoki” arranged all of the antithetic expressions one by one systematically, and thereby he described the scenery and strong feelings in the traveling very well.
That “Kaidoki”, in which antithetic expressions are represented with the varied authority, is evaluable as a abstruse work, is just a stance of the contemporary today. It might be very simple expressions for the intelligentsia of that time. so, how to read and think such a writing style, is the very significant point in the process of the literary interpretation and evaluation.
