이 연구는 시각장애 학생의 직업재활을 위해 직업능력평가와 전환교육 운영의 사례를 분석한 것으로 첫째, 시각장애학생의 직업능력평가를 통해 현재의 직업능력을 파악하고, 둘째, 직업능력평가를 통해 전환교육의 목표와 프로그램을 개발하고, 셋째, 전환교육의 프로그램을 실천하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 이 연구의 결과로 첫째, 직업능력평가를 통해 연구 집단의 학생들은 안마/침술사 5명, 안마사 2명, 사회복지사 1명, 보호작업시설 1명으로 나타나 대부분은 안마 관련 직종에 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 프로그램 운영 및 그 결과로 연구 집단의 학생들은 기초재활 프로그램을 통해 점자 읽고 쓰기, 보행, 컴퓨터 활용능력이 향상되었고, 이론과 임상실습을 통해 안마 기능이 향상되었으며, 직업적 기술의 응용력 및 작업집중력, 지구력을 갖게 되었다. 또한, 기초체력 단련 프로그램을 통해 건강관리 능력, 상담 및 기능적 정서행동 교육을 통해 건전한 자아정체성이 확립과 대인관계 향상 등 안정적인 사회적응 기술을 갖게 되었다. 마지막으로 다양한 의료 현장에서의 경험을 통해 안마업의 전문성과 직업인으로서의 자부심을 갖게 되었으며, 창업이나 경영 기술 등의 심화적인 훈련 및 안마직종 이외의 폭넓은 직종 탐색을 통해 자발적인 직업 계획을 세워가게 되었다.
This research aims to evaluate job abilities of students with visual impairments in providing job training, and analyze transition education cases. First, it determined students with visual impairments" current job ability by evaluating their job ability, second, it sought to evaluate their job ability and develop the objective and programs of their transition education and third, it put transition education programs into action and grasped its result As a result, first, through their job ability evaluation, most of students in this research group were found to be suited to service jobs; five massagers/acupuncture practitioners, two massagers, one social welfare worker, and one worker at a protective work facility. Second, it showed that all students in this research group needed to receive basic rehabilitation education regarding braille, walking, computer skill, as well as managing their physical conditions and vision. Basic rehabilitation programs, based on these needs, were provided, thereby leading to a gradual improvement in braille type reading and writing, walking, and computer skills. Third, through theoretical education and clinical practice, students" service job skills improved and it enhanced their abilities to apply occupational skills, concentrate on work, and endure in work. Fourth, through basic physical training programs; physical flexibility exercise, aerobic exercise, education on medical actions and methods regarding vision and chronic diseases, they improved abilities to take care of health. Fifth, through counseling and functional and emotional behavior education, they established a sound selfidentity, and improved interpersonal skills and other social adaptation skills. Sixth, through daily life skill training, they developed abilities to comprehensively cope with various situations. Seventh, through experience in various medical fields, they had pride as a social worker and professionalism of service jobs. Eighth, through indepth training on the foundation of a massage service center and managerial skills, and a wide array of exploration job except service jobs, they were able to establish job plans on their own.
