The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences between the muscle activity of the agonist muscles and kinematics during the attacking and defensive dollyochagi, 4 elite taekwondo players participated and through the understanding of these differences more scientific training principles may be provided.
1. There was highly significant differences for the kicking legs hip angle, knee angle at the moment of take off as well as there was a significant difference between the maximum knee flexion angle.
2. As for the muscle activity there were significant differences at lumbar erector spinae and gastrocnemius from the ready position to the take off of the kicking foot between the attacking and defensive dollyochagi. There was a significant difference between the rectus abdominis between the kicks from the take off to the maximum knee flexion angle. For the knee extension phase, from the maximum knee flexion angle to the knee extension (impact), there were significant differences at the rectus abdominis, rectus femoris, tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius.
