This paper shows the formation system and meaning of God position by comparing and analyzing the process from birth to God position for the main characters appearing in 〈Cheonjiwangbonpuli〉 and 〈Samsenghalmangbonpuli〉.
The characters of study object are around the characters with a distinct personality rising to God position through the struggle among main characters of Jejudo shamanism myths. The applied characters are Daesobyulwang of 〈Cheonjiwangbonpuli〉 and Mengjingukdanim-Donghaeyongdanim of 〈Samsenghalmangbonpuli〉.
After structuralizing birth history, growth process, God ability express and acquisition of God position to search the imagery process of characters, the motive of God ability express in these things is related to seat in God position directly. So, it is surveyed intensively.
Looking into the relation of characters with the subject and the object as the center at giving God position, 〈Cheonjiwangbonpuli〉 shows the characteristic of indirect giving under the blood relationship of sky-father-earth-mother + son. On the other hand, 〈Samsenghalmangbonpuli〉 shows the characteristic of direct giving under the social relationship.
The communication principle of each story goes through the process of discontinuity, connection and synthesis. 〈Cheonjiwangbonpuli〉 shows the characteristic of autonomic adjustment with a emphasized vertical order on sky-earth-human. On the other hand, 〈Samsenghalmangbonpuli〉 shows the characteristic of other-directed adjustment with a emphasized horizontal order.
In conclusion, the manly thinking of emphasis on blood is reflected in 〈Cheonjiwangbonpuli〉 and the womanly thinking of emphasis on talent and ability in 〈Samsenghalmangbonpuli〉. From now on it is necessary for us to search overall aspects related to other shamanism myths.
