After 1988 Kyeokamyulok(『格菴遺錄』) was known as a more famous oriental and Koran prophetic literature than the book of Nostradamus of the east. But In 1994, it was uncovered by Kim Ha-Won that the book was not written by Kyeokam, Nam Sa-Go(1509-1571) but by church members of Shinangchon (信仰村) which Presbyter Park Tae-Sun had founded in 1957. In 2007, Heo Zin-Gu witnessed the author of the book was his father who was joined in Shinangchon in 1958.
The sentiment and logic of Jeongamlok as a book for prophecy have had an intimacy with daily life in the Korean people for a long time. As a forged book Kyeokamyulok(『格菴遺錄』), a kind of Koran traditional apocalytic literature just like Jeonggamlok(『鄭鑑錄』) was mixed up with a heretical doctrine of Korean sect, the Shinangchon of Park Tae-Sun. And another church leader Lee Man-Hee of the Church of New heaven and Earth(新天地) and Jo Hee-Seung of the Church of Eternal Life(永生敎) also made their false doctrine on the Kyeokamyulok.
In this thesis we argued against main contents of the Kyeokamyulok on the view of syncretism which is the characteristic of these famous Korean heresy such as their time limed eschatology, exclusive salvation doctrine, false Messianism, and allegorical method of Bible interpretation.
