The urban and rural areas form an organic system. which ha the characteristics of integrity and indivisibility. The coordination degree between urban and rural area directly affects the healthy development of economy and social. Only when they city works together with its surrounding rural environment, can it realizes circulation of ecological flows and ecological balance. On the basis of comprehensively analyzing the practical and theoretical research status. this paper points out the necessity to evaluate the urban-rural ecological coordination degree from the perspective of integration. In this paper. we design a comprehensive evaluation index system of urban?rural ecological coordinative degree and make a quantitative evaluation of the urban?rual ecological coordinative degree of provinces and regions in China by using the method of principal component analysis. The purpose is to find out the factors that restrict urban-rural ecological coordinative development and provide reliable scientific basis for every region of china to realize urban-rural ecological coordinative development.
