This study analyzed the data on regular and non-regular employees totalling 316 persons working with 12 comprehensive sports centers housed in national sports centers and sports facilities management corporations that provide two or more events including swimming pools located in Busan Metropolitan City and Kyungsangnamdo Province, in order to probe into effects of mentoring functions of employees of public sports centers on role stress and attitude toward their duties. Here are our findings:
First, Mentoring functions of public sport centers significantly affected immersion into organizations.
Second, Mentoring functions did not affect intention to quit the job.
Third, While mentoring functions did not affect role conflicts among role stresses, they significantly affected ambiguity of roles.
Fourth, It turned out that role stress negatively affected immersion into organizations.
Fifth, Role stress did not affect the intention to quit the job.
