This paper is a discuss about recent film 〈Abatar〉, that the system used in Avatar isn’t simply motion capture, but rather emotion capture. The breakthrough involves photographing the facial features and expressions of the actors during performances which captures every twitch and delicate muscle movement. As the availability of motion capture and face capture data has increased, there has been more and more interest in using it as a basis for creating computer animations when life-like motion is desired. However, there are still a number of difficulties to overcome concerning its use. Asa result, most high quality animations are still created by key-framing by skilled animators.
