The purpose of this study is to come up with ways for problem-solving by watching the problem about correlation of reading-related thinking and writing-related thinking for integration of reading and writing.
In the revised Korean language curriculum in 2009 and the revised Korean language curriculum in 2011, reading and writing didn’t show the same thinking. Thereby correlation between the two areas was not done. Due to this lack of correlation, activated thinking in reading does not link to writing and activated thinking in writing does not join to reading. Therefore the main relevant thinking as a common mechanism on the activities of two areas at least is required to become an integrated Korean language activities connecting from reading to writing and from writing to leading. It becomes a link connecting reading and writing, and enables integration of ‘reading-thinking-writing’.
By the way connections of ‘reading-thinking-writing’ does not means integration by horizontal connection. It means integration by cyclical process of reading-related thinking and writing-related thinking. And cyclical rank based on a cyclical process will increase the main relevant thinking of reading and writing.
