In the casino industry, tipping system is one of efficient and important tools to increase employee's job satisfaction, as well as to provide high service quality to the customer. The purpose of this study is examining the preference of changing to the individual tipping system by the employee's demographic differences in the casino industry. Based on the employees' opinions, the strategical suggestions of tipping system would be provided casino companies to success in their business. Total 257 survey questionnaires were gathered from the P and G casino companies in Busan. The empirical results suggested that more than 70% of casino employees in the sample would like to change individual tipping system. Among the several variables, there are significant differences between the difference groups of age, work position, and type of department.
