This study is on analysis and compare about 1950's three Korea Nongmin(Peasant) novels. Lee, Moo-Young's "Nongmin(Peasant)" trilogy, An, Soo-Gil's "Bukgando(north Gando)" Yi, Gi-Young's "Dumangang(Du-Man river)", 3 novels are objects of this study. Lee, Moo-Young' "Nongmin(Peasant)" did not map so well known so there were not many readers. In contrast, An, Soo-Gil's "Bukgando(north Gando)" is a work that had a significant impact. Gi-Young's "Dumangang(Du-Man river)" is a work in the North Korea. Thus, compare to three novels based on a same step and criterion is unreasonable. We must analyze, compare with consider the nature and location of each novels.
Nonetheless, three novels are in common to the same time historical background, full-length novel, Peasants Novel. This fact is important for the study of this period Korea's novel history, should be thought of novel history's needs. They create to Portrait of Hero style, family history narrative, and a chronological narrative that has characteristics in common.
Three novels have different narrative strategies and characteristics each other by other means with the position. This paper compare to three novels on aspects of 'historical narration'.
However, all three novels failed to esthetic achievement, separate of aesthetic experience and the fictional world, and did so as an individual's identity and ethnic identity were not distinguished. Inspired by personal experiences that is problematic to be objectified, liberal or idealistic hero, obsessed with the objectified consciousness was not enough.
Despite these similarities reveal their three novels, We can find with slightly different characteristics. "Nongmin(Peasant)" is ostensibly going to talk specifically to the fictional reality of history, but actually more inclined in the actuality. "Dumangang(Du-Man river)" on the surface, as opposed to the ideology aimed at the creation of a narrative looks like, on inside the lives of individuals achieved in the process seems to be more focused. In contrast, "Bukgando(north Gando" to talk to the actual history and fiction to create the empirical impulse combined with impulses trying to portray as a form of fiction, though that is detailed but it did realize the value of nationalism that is more than likely to succeed.
All three novels seems to have failed to present a new framework of national epic of relying on the history story. However Three novels made a important contribution to open new avenues of literary novels, logical connection with the historical situation.
