The purpose of this study was to determine whether level of cardiorespiratory fitness, obesity are associated with blood pressure and baPWV, ABI. The results obtained in this study were as follow. 1. In the body composition, skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass, lean mass, %body fat, WHR were all found to significantly higher in the unfit obesity group. 2. In the blood samples, TG, HDL-C, Glucose were not significant between the all groups. 3. In the blood pressure, SBP, DBP were not significant between the all groups. 4. In the arterial stiffness, baPWV-R, baPWV-L, ABIR, and ABIL were not significant between the all groups. In conclusion, cardiorespiratory fitness and obesity are not associated with blood pressure and arterial stiffness in middle aged women who have sedentary lifestyle.
