In the research, a base catalyst, which is used in a process of producing methyl ester, is solidified and then physically removed using a centrifugal separator or a filter, so that the yield of the obtained methyl ester is high, the purity thereof is also high, and waste water is not produced, compared to conventional methods of producing methyl ester, particularly biodiesel, in which a refining process is generally performed, with the result that the method of producing methyl ester according to the research is very environment-friendly and economical.
