The necessity of inter-cultural understanding is strongly initiating in Korean society due to the fact that multi-cultural society is entering more than ever. However, the present argument about the racial problem and multi-cultural society is focusing on the improvement of foreigner’s discriminative treatment and their recognition in Korea. Present research was planned based on the assumption that Korean people might have dual attitude according to the races. Researchers verified the Korean’s dual attitude that we assumed by using the implicit attitude test(IAT) and the explicit attitude test(EAT). From results of our research, Korean has relatively positive attitude toward white ethnics compared to South-eastern Asian ethnics. Similarly, the verification of IAT/EAT results showed same tendency level. Moreover, we discussed about the Korean’s dual recognition toward ethnics from the point of origin of the present race problem in Korea which eventually is approaching globalization and multi-cultural society.
