This paper deal with the socio-political situations in YeoSu for 3 years from 1945 to 1948. For this purpose, This paper examined the social economic conditions and social movements in YeoSu after Japanese-rule periods. The findings of this study are as follows:
Firstly, The social economic conditions of YeoSu were better than other places in Chosun not only Japanese-rule periods but also the 3 years after National Liberation-Day. The trade work of YeoSu harbor and manufacturing industry made YeoSu rich place relatively.
Secondly, The social movements of YeoSu were not good as other places of that periods. Social movements organizations of YeoSu were of small number and the power of Social movements organizations were weak. There were few incidents that Social movements organizations played leading parts.
Thirdly, The situations of Social movements of YeoSu changed at the early of 1948. Outbreaking Anti Devided country(Anti DanSunDanJeong movements), Demonstrations, Signal fire movements and raising Red flag movement occurred in YeoSu frequently.
