This study aims to investigate the applicability of museum method, which is one of the project-based learning methods, in elementary English education. For 8 weeks, 29 students participated in this study and made their own museum according to the theme they chose during two-hour optional-activity class. In order to investigate the effect of the method, the reading and writing parts of the YLE test were used for the pre- and post-tests for this study. At the end of the tests, participants were asked to write 5 English sentences that they could write. In addition to that, questionnaires were administered to investigate their change of attitudes toward English study. The results of the study are as follows. First, their test scores and the number of sentences they could write were significantly improved. There were no significant changes of attitudes toward English study, however, the low group students showed statistically significant change of attitudes toward English writing. Students seemed to have remembered sentences they learned and used doing this museum making project.
