Many elementary school students are blissfully unaware of privacy protection since they receive little to no formal education on information and communication ethics. Subsequently, students unwittingly expose their own personal information as well as that of others; putting themselves and others at risk. This paper outlines a teaching and learning methodology through which elementary school students can raise their practical skills in privacy protection and management. It also develops a role play teaching and learning model in connection with various ICT activities and establishes lesson instruction plans. Tn addition, there is a brief report on the models application to a class of grade five elementary school students, including an analysis of the results which shows that these students gained a greater consciousness of privacy protection compared with those taught through conventional methods.
