There are many scales to measure ego-resiliency but those are not verified validity and doesn't have stability of object. The purpose of this study was that development and validation of ego-resiliency scale for university student participating sport activity. This study applied that the ego-resiliency scale was developed by Klohenn(1996) and verified validity. The 4-factor 24-item was developed by evidence based on test content. AMOS program was used to analyze the scale as confirmatory factor analysis for construct validity(convergent validity and discriminant validity). To verify the convergent validity and discriminant validity, ICR(Internal Composite Reliability) and AVE(Average Variance Extracted) must have more optimum standard(ICR≥.70, AVE≥ .50). The result was not satisfied goodness-of-fit(GFI=.860, RMSEA=.062, CFI=.903, TLI=,914). The factor was not satisfied optimum standard of ICR and AVE, the 6-item that showed small squared multiple correlation was eliminated to increase goodness-of-fit. The 4-factor 18-item was analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis to verify convergent validity. The result satisfied goodness-of-fit(GFI=.900, RMSEA=.062, CFI=.917, TLI=,930). The 4-factor was satisfied optimum standard of ICR and AVE.
