This paper is a study on the 4th emancipates the mind(思想解放), particularly the change of political reform since 2007.
Hu Jintao said "expand socialist democracy and better safeguard the people's rights and interests as well as social equity and justice. Citizens' participation in. political affairs will expand in an orderly way" at the 17th National Congress, 2007. And he emphasized the political reform and personal rights in China.
Wen Jiabao noticed "political restructuring" and "without success in political restructuring, there will be no success in economic reform" with the NHK' interview. He said "ensure people's rights to vote, to stay informed about, participate in and oversee government affairs". And, Hu Jintao noticed political system reforms in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. Hu said "expand socialist democracy, accelerate the building of a socialist nation of rule of law, and carry out democratic elections, democratic decision-making, democratic management, and democratic monitoring, preserving the people's right to know, right to participate, right to express and right to monitor." I deal with the Charter 08, Appeal 09(公車上書), abolition of press censorship. Also, I deal with Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao noticed the political system reforms. And I discuss between the diffusion of internet and movement for democracy.
