We need to analyze status of signals sent from/received to a signaling equipment in TDX exchange system, providing the fully electronic switching system. There are types of signal such as R2MFC/DTMF/CCT/VOICE connecting a universal signal transceiver unit and time switch unit. Then we classify these PCM signals of the preferred channel from the subhighway and discriminates the digit.
In this paper, we propose new algorithm of signal analysis and discrimination of digit, which use modified DFT based on the symmetric properties. In the experimental results, it shows the improved performance and reduceｄ memory waste and process the real-time.
