This has been written to find out the foundation base and the literary character of『Cheongunyeonie』through studying the piece as considering the necessity to discuss focusing on the literary individual features. The work is concerned with the author’s different lives closely, and especially with the political side of it. The living and political side have been developed as closely associated, and Jeong, Tae-jae(정태제) has coped these with the creation of literary work with enthusiasm as a writer. This shows the universality and specialty of the work itself at the same time. That is, the work can be found as not only having the runaway idealistic character, but having the character as different lives and the corresponding. Furthermore, the work has been formed on the base of the change of recognition for the novel and cultural conditions for that. The change of recognition for the novel has been formed as occupying the same position with the historical predicate, and as a result, the history-based fiction genre has been considered as the righteous type of writing as well. These factors has improved the cultural recognition as acting connected closely each other, and as a result this work has been created as the result of the variation of literary creation. The work has the character showing the trace of confliction and wandering, as the writer meant to overcome all his political experiences. The writer respects the political reality on the characters with all his experiences and puts up on the epic as well. Also, the work shows the conflicting aspect as not settled with the direction between epic and description. Epic needs to follow the simple and regular frame, but the description does not follow that condition as being far out of that.
