As a procedure for confirmation and approval of construction performances, the pre-construction or the post-construction survey for the construction of railroad trackbed should be strictly conducted under the provisions of specifications. Advanced surveying equipments and data processing technology are now used in the railroad trackbed survey and provided the visually digital information customized in accordance with the convenience and requirement of users. However, the forms of the post-construction products submitted from contractors were extremely different. Therefore, it is now required to standardize the post-construction survey products.
A study was to develop the standardized form for the products of the pre-construction or the post construction survey for the construction of railroad trackbed. The logically consistent data were organized in order to standardize a variety of types of the survey products, and can be applied to the track construction in the future. Therefore, the results of a study would provide the convenience, speed and organization in order to establish the useful database required for various operating systems and maintenance of infrastructures.
