Purpose: Unlike past generation, adolescents bullying are serious problems in our society. Especially, recently adolescents bullying are serious problem. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the overall complexity of middle school girls' violent behavior within the peer group. The purpose of the study is to understand what the essence and the meaning of middile school girls' violent behavior within the peer group.
Method: To understand the meaning of middle school girls who commit violence to peer group, the study went 10 steps consisted of 'concentration on the essence of experiences', 'existential research', 'reflection of hermeutic phenomenology', 'writing of phenomenology', and so on by applying the research method of van Manen, which are one of quality research methods of hermenetic phenomenology. The experience statement data were collected through in depth interview from December, 2006 to April, 2007 and participations are twelve middle school girls consists of 2nd, 3nd.
Result: The output of interviewing middle school girls who have committed act of violence within the same age group is 〈Sense of feeling comfortable and stabled within the similar age group〉, 〈Sense of anger raises sharply towards the friends that they dislike〉, 〈Fear of getting caught only lasts for a short time and leads to continuous violence〉, 〈Violence is the best and only way〉, 〈Act of violence starts with hesitance but soon become a source of pleasure〉, 〈Fear of getting caught only lasts for a short time and leads to continuous violence〉, 〈Feeling superior of being above than anyone else within the peer group〉, 〈Violence gets caught after all but feeling angry towards adults who do not understand the bullying〉, 〈The bully wants to quit their violent acts but their impulse does not stop and only continues〉
