The South Africa, the host country of 2010 FIFA World Cup, ended Global festival smoothly, hosting it at the first time in Africa. ANC and pre-President Mandela made every efforts to host 2010 World cup of South Africa. Mandela changed the struggling leader against Apartheid into the leader of sports politics since 1998.
After deciding 2010 World Cup of South Africa, FIFA required many things for World Cup to South Africa Government. The South Africa Government decided and exercised many policies for World Cup from 2004 to 2010.
One of the most important things was public development policy, which was called 2010 projects. The Central government and the Local Governments advertised extensively the projects. Because the unemployment rate of South Africa was going to about 40%. The Technocrat of South Africa and COSATU’s Leader were convinced that 2010 projects would make jobs.
But the character of most of new jobs were informal working and temporary contact working. Black workers were dismissed from companies of white capital trans-national capital. J. Zuma Government oppressed fundamental rights of the working class. COSATU joined with FIFA for 2010 World Cup festival, too.
Although ANC and COSATU turned on the left blinker, they turned the steering wheel right. This is only the developing strategy of capitalistic populism and state capitalism. So Leftist of Africa Continental has been struggling against imperialistic world capitalism with ‘African People’s Consensus’. This means that African people is not exploited people but struggling people against World Capitalism.
