This study, we aimed to investigate the causal relationship between personality traits, life stress and life satisfaction. So we generally hypothesized that personality traits effect to life stress and life satisfaction, while life stress impact to life satisfaction.
The data were collected from Korean General Social Survey statistical databases dated of August 31, 2009. The structural equation model of AMOS were applied to analyze the data.
The results were as follows:
First, The extroversion effect not significant on life stress, but introversion influenced significantly on life stress.
Second, The extroversion and introversion influenced significantly on life satisfaction.
Third, Life stress influenced significantly on life satisfaction.
From these results we can conclude that introversion of personality traits influenced significantly on life stress but extroversion of personality traits effect not significant on life stress and personality traits, life stress influenced significantly on life satisfaction.
