Bills of Lading has enabled the international trade to enhance the effectiveness. Because of using the B/L, the importer could receive the goods contracted in safe. Therefore both of importer and exporter enjoy getting their profits.
With a view to developing the transaction in through using the B/L, a lot of alternative instead of the traditional B/L have been proposed, but it is impossible for the traders to use them because of having the defects. Therfore, Bolero Project had been made in base of CMI in 1998.
This paper will provide the characteristics and limitation of Bolero Project, and also search alternatives of the Bolero Project.
