With focus on some peculiarities of the passive morphemes in diverse languages and the morphological and syntactic combination of the passive morpheme and a verb, this article is concerned with the analysis of the passive constructions based on the basic concepts fundamental to Chomsky (2005). In this article, I will suggest a new derivational process of the passive constructions based on Chomsky (2005). This article also includes some reviews of the earlier literatures such as Baker, Roberts and Johnson (1989), and Park(1995), and in particular, I will try to develop the study of Park(1995) under the recent work of Chomsky(2005) and some examples adopted in Baker, Johnson, and Robert(1989) will be reanalyzed in terms of Feature Inheritance (Chomsky, 2005).
