The purpose of this article is to study various problems with respect to the main changes of the insurance document article in the UCP 600 and ISBP.
ICC banking commission approved UCP 600 on 25 October 2006 and the UCP 600 came into effect on 1 July 2007. Sub-article 28 of the rules provides the insurance documents.
On the other hand, the ISBP, ICC Publication 645, was updated with the purpose of aligning it with UCP 600. The updated ISBP was published to coincide with the implementation of UCP 600 on 1 July 2007. This was reduced in the number of paragraphs from 200 to 185.
This article presents the criterion of interpretation with respect to the insurance document such as title of insurance document, dates of insurance document, the number of original insurance documents, duration of insurance, memorandum clause etc.
