In China, there has been a strong movement in cultivating of the high-tech industry for reorganizing the industry structure of the macro economy and sustained high growth rate in those industries as computerrelated, office equipment, electronics and telec ommunication.
The high growth rates in those industries are based on the strong policy of the central government to flourish high-tech industries and their coordination with traditional industries. The policy can be divided as the strategy of research and development, that of industrialization and that of constructing bases of industrialization.
Those strategies are evaluated as a successful effort for having contributed to the development of science and technology. And, it is prospected that, in the 21st century, there will be an exercise of the unified strategy of those individual strategies as well as each strategy being exercised individually to stimulate industrialization process using the results of research and development achieved until now.
Those policies must strengthen the competitiveness of their traditional industry sectors as well. Especially, we need to advance, in China, into the electronic-information industry, the bio-technology, the space engineering, the new material and environmental industry which have strongly been cultivated by the policy of China.
