The National Statistical Office(NSO) announced that the portion of people who are age of 65 and over exceeded 7.3% of total population. The significant increase in numbers and proportions of older people will impact heavily on increasing economic cost of the elderly support, health care delivery and other aspects of daily life.
Therefore, the aging society is destined to bring about a drastic change to the socioeconomic environment. The first of all that should be prepared for is how to effectively support economic, physical care and psychological (emotional) for the elderly. They have problem, such as economic, physical, psychological dependents and so on.
Specially, a firm social security net is deemed more important than any other thing to maintain social and economic stability in the aging society.
