This research purports to verify the difference and the causal relationships among KLPGA players' self-management, immersion in games, and satisfaction with games by tour grade. This research was conducted to 328 KLPGA players who participated in the first, the second, and the third tour. The tour grade (1st, 2nd, 3rd) was used as the background variable, self-management as the independent variable, immersion in games as the parameter, and satisfaction with games as the dependent variable. One-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis, and simple regression analysis were made, and the following results were found:
First, there was no significant difference in self-management by the participating tour grade. Among the sub-variables of self-management, the players participating in the first tour showed higher score at injury management than the players participating in the third tour.
Second, there was no difference in immersion in games by tour grade.
Third, in all the players regardless of tour grade, self-management had significant influence on the immersion in games. In relation to its sub-variables, as for the players participating in the first tour, mind control, training management, and sleep control had significant influence on the immersion in games. As for the players participating in the second tour, training management had significant influence on the immersion in games. And as for the players participating in the third tour, physical management had significant influence on the immersion in games.
Fourth, in all the players regardless of tour grade, self-management had significant influence on satisfaction with games. In relation to the sub-variables, as for the players participating in the third tour, their self-management had significant influence only on the satisfaction with the life as players.
Fifth, significant influence of the immersion in games on overall satisfaction with games was found only in the players participating in the second tour. In relation to the sub-variables, significant influence of the immersion in games on overall satisfaction with games was found in all the players, regardless of tour grade.
