The most famous place for tourists is the beach during the summer vacation. Traveling demand about an island sightseeing resort is increasing recently. Because, The three sides of korea are surrounded by the sea and there are countless islands. However, there is hardly study about an island sightseeing among studies of the tourist satisfaction in our country until now.
This study was written in order to suggest a management plan for the tourists who visit the island sightseeing resort and have in a special condition.
Four sightseeing resort selection property appeared with four factors ; nature scenery, social and culture, sightseeing activity, based facilities. Among those things, social and culture factor is considered as the most important thing.
The most important things for students and young age group are sightseeing and experience program and various recreation activity. On the other hand, woman and high age group think that a rest in places with good facilities is more important than sightseeing activity.
Also, the tourist satisfaction is affected by social and culture, nature scenery and sightseeing activity.
Consequently, social and culture factor that affect the choice of island sightseeing resort and tourist satisfaction the most is regional image, history and traditional custom etc. It is the most important to manager island sightseeing resorts.
This reputation and images make people select the region again and they will be more affective to tourists satisfaction.
A step-by-step development strategy depending on the importance of satisfaction factor that affect tourist satisfaction in advance. And various sightseeing/experiences and recreation program for sightseeing activity and sightseeing-based facilities satisfying demand and a service strategy will be necessary.
