There are varieties of elements which threatens a corporate. Out-breaking elements such as natural disasters, wars, political upheaval, big accidents, consumer boycott, environmental issues, labor disputes and many more occurs and the ways for the corporate to cope with these difficulties are multifarious in its appearance. In the developed nations, who have had variety of changing experiences in their economical situations and have encountered quiet a number of corporate's critical moments, operates a prior management by preparing risk management manuals, trial training to cope with crisis situations as well as the employment training.
In the case of tourism industry, which has smaller scale compared to other industries of Korea, systematic approach for risk management is not made although it is exposed to risky situations.
The purpose of this study is to inspect present states of cnS1S management level of travel agencies. It aims to present a direction to successful crisis management activity of travel agencies with awareness of the problems to overcome the variety of crisis which occurs during the management of travel agencies.
