Recently, there has been growing concern regarding healthy therefore a comfortable indoor environment has become increasingly important too. Introduction of ecological concept rouse the interest on the ecological building as an alternative plan to cope with critical situation in environment. This study put a emphasis on applications of variety double skin systems by measuring and analyzing the thermal environment of box-typed double skin system.
The results of this study are as follows. (1) The temperature in intermediate space is higher than outside air temperature about 1~2 degrees(℃) in easel, and case2 is 10℃ higher. Consequently we recognize that is accumulation of heat in intermediate space. (2) There is a temperature variation of 2℃ between upper zone and central zone. And surface temperature of outside window which is influenced by insolation, is 16℃ higher than outside air temperature. Furthermore a temperature variation of 13℃ between outside & inside window surface.
