According to the result of comparing Korean folktale 〈Bulgasalee〉 and Japan folktale 〈奈良縣風俗誌料〉, limitless appetite and growing up of characters-Bulgasalee and Jade Caterpillar- and then process and meaning of the story which shows the destruction of community caused by these limitless appetite and growing up are quite similar. So, we may say that the latter part revenge story of 〈奈良縣風俗誌料〉 and 〈Bulgasalee〉 are folktale versions which have same epic structure. Then, comparing story plot, we may think that trait of characters, and property of mentioned folktales, Korean folktale 〈Bulgasalee〉 and Japan folktale 〈奈良縣風俗誌料〉, might be influenced by 〈禍母〉 of ??雜比喩經??, the Sutras. However, Korean folktale 〈Bulgasalee〉 and Japan folktale 〈奈良縣風俗誌料〉 have same story structure, but these two folktales intends to tell different peculiar meanings. If 〈禍母〉 story has instructional meanings that disaster which greed and tenacity causes demolish community, 〈Bulgasalee〉 introduces much more abundant meanings maintaining dual point of view -negativity and positivity, destruction and construction. On the other side, we may think that revenge story on Japanese folktale 〈奈良縣風俗誌料〉 implies social weaker's active ambition to end up the world of powerful man who devastates a life of person by using fantastic device, Jade Caterpillar. I think that Korean folktale 〈Bulgasalee〉 and Japanese folktale 〈奈良縣風俗誌料〉 will be a precious materials to study and recognize the close-ductility and uniqueness between Korean and Japan folktale.
