During 1927-1935, the Compilation Committee of the Silrok under the Iwangjik(李王職錄編纂委員會) collected about 6,000 books, published about 300 books, and produced hundreds of official documments. During 1936-1938, the Compilation Committee of the Kukjobogam(國朝寶鑑編輯委員會) also produced hundreds of documments.
These materials show how the formation of Changsogak-materials(藏書閣資料) was during the Japanese colonial rule. We can also understand the concrete contents of the cultural rule during 1920-1930's.
Therefore it is necessary to study the process of the formation of Changsogak-materials during the Japanese colonial rule in order to explain Changsogak itself and colonial period in Korean history. The compilation Of Kojongsunjongsilrok(高宗純宗實錄) and Kojongsunjongkukjobogam(高宗純宗國朝寶鑑) during the Japanese Colonial rule must be key point for that problem.
