This study was aimed to identify whether the balance and the symmetry of bilateral landing motion affect the record improvement of long distance runner as an important variable and to contribute to prevention against injuries and record improvement by repeating balanced landing motion. Subjects participated in this study are the runners whose full-course records are under 3 hours, who are named a superior group, and the runners whose full-course records are over 4 house, who are named a non-superior group. To compare the difference between left and right landing motion of the superior group and non-superior group. In maximum vertical impulsive force between two groups, the balance gap of left and right feet was also narrower in the superior group. The superior group's landing length and width were longer and wider than the opposite group. In the asymmetry of opened feet angular between two groups, the difference between left and right was less in the superior group than in the opposite group. The angular of the ankle between two groups, when comparing bilateral feet, was more out of balance in the non-superior group. and there was a statistically meaningful difference in the non-superior group.
